Day 01: Bangkok Arrival

Upon your arrival in Bangkok, our guide will welcome you for the hotel transfer.
The day is left free for your own leisure and personal appreciation of Bangkok City

Day 02: Bangkok City Tour

After breakfast, you will start the tour to Wat Po, witnessing the morning rituals in one of the oldest temples in Bangkok. This pagoda is also home to the famous reclining Buddha, measuring a staggering 45m in length, as well as one of the oldest Traditional Thai-massage schools in the country.
Continue your tour day to the Grand Palace, where you will visit the various buildings that were used for different occasions
In the afternoon, we commence the sightseeing at irresistible Or Tor Kor Market in the north of Bangkok and unquestionably the most tempting market in city.

Day 03: Bangkok - Chiang Mai 

A morning flight will bring you to the northern hub of Thailand where you will absorb in the diverse culture of different hill tribes. 
Your sightseeing is filled by a stroll aound Wa Gatekaram till Wiang Kum Kum which provides you 
Start with a stroll around the alleyways of the old trader community of Wat Gatekaram, before continuing on to Wiang Kum Kam. Following a massive flood, the city of Wiang Kum Kam vanished without a trace and for over 200 years became a lost civilization buried under layers of earth. Explore the main ancient ruined temples by bicycle. Your day also includes a visit to Wat Chedi Luang, one of the most spectacular ruins in the old city that once housed the Emerald Buddha.
The highlight of the day for many is Wat Phra That Doi Suthep, the temple on the mountain, and the most sacred in Northern Thailand. Your guide will explain the story of the temple and lead you around its impressive chedi and beautiful murals. As dusk approaches and the tourist masses have left the temple grounds you are privileged to be involved in a private blessing ceremony and will have the magical opportunity to witness the evening chanting of the monks before heading back to your hotel.
Much of the fun of the day is traversing the city using various modes of local transport including a songthaew, long tail boat and the ubiquitous 3-wheeler tuk-tuk. This combination ensures that you get the chance to explore areas of the city that most visitors do not get to see.

Day 04: Chiang Mai - Family Home Cooking Experience

Today provides the perfect opportunity to gain a better understanding of everyday life in Northern Thailand with a cooking class in a family home belonging to the charismatic Mr Prapat. An experience that few visitors are lucky enough to participate in.
Head out to Chiang Mai’s suburbs where you will meet the family you are to spend the day with. You’ll learn about traditional basket weaving and the architecture of traditional Thai homes before strolling around the small family garden and gathering fresh ingredients for your cooking extravaganza.
Guided by Mr Prapat, and assisted by various family members, you will learn to cook traditional Northern Thai recipes, before sitting down with the family to enjoy the fruits of your labour. This is a wonderful opportunity to chat with Mr Prapat and learn more about family life in Thailand. After lunch, stroll around the neighbourhood and learn about the cottage industry goods being made locally before returning to Chiang Mai.

Day 05: Chiang Mai - Patara Elephant Farm

Morning departure by road for the Patara Elephant Farm, a project promoting the health, welfare and responsible breeding of elephants in Thailand.
Having met the expert local team, your day will involve learning about the upkeep and healthcare for the elephants. It's a very 'hands on' experience and throughout the day you will learn a number of basic skills such as how to approach and mount your elephant correctly. You will also be invited to assist with the all-important task of bathing your elephant, a very important part of their daily programme. Elephants cannot sweat and therefore bathing them not only helps to keep them clean (no easy feat with an animal that’s favourite terrain is mud), it also plays an essential role in controlling their body temperature. In addition, the local team will teach you a variety of different riding techniques as well as some basic verbal commands.
In the afternoon there will be time to enjoy some trekking with your elephant, navigating along jungle passes and across streams. Return to Chiang Mai in the late afternoon where the remainder of your day is at leisure.

Day 07: Chiang Mai - Bangkok - Hanoi

Rest at your leisure until you take the flight to Bangkok and another flight transfering to Hanoi in the afternoon. 
Upon your arrival, you will be welcomed by your guide for the hotel transfer.
Hanoi is a vibrant city which boasts a rich history from Ly Dynasty in A.D 1010. From the narrow, bustling streets of the Old Quarter to the charming colonial buildings, shady avenue, blissful lakes, the city of Hanoi demonstrates its own uniqueness combining the west and the east.
The remainder of your day is at leisure.

Day 08: Hanoi - Ha Long Bay

From Hanoi, you`ll head east to the coast and beautiful Halong Bay, literally means “ descending dragon “.The name derives from a Vietnamese legend that the gods sent a dragon to protect the people there. Upon arrival, you will board the cruise, gazing at some 2000 limestone peaks that rise from the sea. 
You’ll have the opportunity to explore one of the most spectacular caves crammed with stalactites and stalagmites.

Day 09: Ha Long Bay - Hanoi - Overnight train to Sapa

Today, you will begin the day with Tai Chi lesson on board then embarking on a kayaking trip to explore the hidden lagoon of Halong Bay. If you prefer a more leisure time, you can rest on boat or participate a visit to a local fishing village.
After lunch, head back to Hanoi.
Dinner will be served in a chic restaurant of Hanoi then we board the night train for Lao Cai, a nice city by Chinese border.

Day 10: Sapa - Ban Ho Valley

As you arrive early in the morning, we will take time for breakfast and refreshment before having a scenic transfer for 2 hours to Ban Ho valley.
You will find yourself in the middle of Hoang Lien Son park, passing beautiful rice terraces and misty mountains before commencing your walk across Muong Bo river to see Tay minority in Thanh Phu village.
After lunch, we stretch our legs to My Son, inhabited by colorful Xa Pho people. Here, you have chances to know about their unique life with the concept of slow life. We settle our stay today in Nam Cang, a tranquil village of Red Dzao minority who are very friendly and eager to show you how to cook their foods.

Day 11: Ban Ho Trek - Sapa

After breakfast, our local guide will show you how Red Dzao people collect herbal medicine, making paper and embroidery.
Spend your full day trekking further into the mountain side of Hoang Lien Son park. You are free to choose the route that fit your duration. We end up the day with a transfer to Sapa town. The rest of the day is for your leisure.

Day 12: Sapa Hill Tribe Market - Hanoi

This morning, we depart from Sapa hill station to one for the famous hill tribe market in the area. Depending on your day, you will visit : Coc Ly market ( Tuesday), Cao Son market ( Wednesday), Lung Khau Nhin market ( Thursday), Can Cau market ( Saturday) or  Bac Ha market ( Sunday).
If you prefer a less-visited market, simply let us know, we have some very good options for you.
At the market, you are free to photograph the Flower Hmong, Nung, Tay or Dao people and see how they make a very distinctive style of trading.
Afternoon is the time to visit one of the village where Flower Hmong people dwells. En route to Lao Cai city, we will visit China border and a vivid local market.

Day 13: Hanoi City Tour 

The city of Hanoi has something special to offer to all its visitors. From beautiful lakes, shaded boulevards to thriving Old Quarter, ochre building remained from French colonial era, Hanoi is a fascinating blend of West and East.
Your visit today will take you to Dong Xuan market, the biggest wholesale market in northern Vietnam, stroll through the ancient '36 streets' where you can discover an amazing selection of shops selling everything from souvenirs to exquisite silk clothing, beautifully embroidered tablecloths. 
For culture immersion, you will see Temple of Literature, the first University of Vietnam then Museum of Art, concluding in West Lake experience Tran Quoc pagoda and enjoy the sunset with Hanoian.

Day 14: Hanoi - Mai Chau Valley 

Leave Hanoi for a scenic drive to Mai Chau valley this morning. 
Mai Chau is home to White Thai and Muong minorities who settled their traditions in this beautiful mountainous area since the XI century. 
Upon arrival, sample the traditional, tasteful Thai food and relax by the rice field.
For afternoon tour, take a walk to the scenic Buoc village, where you have opportunity to meet friendly local farmers working on their rice paddies. Your guide will be very pleased to let you participating in their daily works and visit some random houses where you experience their genuine hospitality. 
This evening`s highlight is the traditional Thai dance.

Day 15: Mai Chau - Ninh Binh 

After breakfast, we will spend more time to learn about Thai`s culture, seeing some of the traditional work of making silk, bricks and wander along the lush valley from Pom Coong to Van village. 
In the afternoon, we depart for Ninh Binh on a less-travelled road, filled with fascinating limestone mountains and rice. Upon arrival in Ninh Binh, enjoy a pleasant cycle from your resort to explore the surroundings.

Day 16: Ninh Binh - Hanoi Departure

The highlight of this morning is to visit Hoa Lu and Tam Coc. 
While Tam Coc is accessible by boat where you can behold the spectacular cliffs, verdant rice fields on Ngo Dong river; Hoa Lu provides you an insight of Le and Dinh dynasty.  
After lunch, the car take you back to Hanoi for your onward flight.
